The Gandhi gambit- passive resistance

Almost everyone I talk to complain about the bad culture in MCF. Maybe even everyone. Heck, even one part of MCF complain about the other part. But they all seem to resign themselves to just that, complaining. A sense of helplessness pervades the air.

So today I wish to remind you of a great man. One man who showed that passive resistance can humble even the most powerful Nation of the time. By refusing to cooperate he freed his Country from colonialism.

Dont go to fixed tournaments, dont sponsor them unless they can change their ways, say something do something when you see a child being abused. These things can do more than just confronting; trying to change them from the inside etc etc. All the well tested ways thats been proven not to work.

So can we try the Gandhi gambit? A small sacrifice for some initiative.

  1. For the Gandhi gambit to work, there has to be 3 prerequisites.

Once again, it is too long to post it here. So I will just link it:

  2. No viable alternative. Change, but change to what? Change how?

You only have so many chances. If you want to fight, you better go in prepared. Yes, I have thrown out a can of worms. There is plenty more where that came from.

You can either run away with your tail in between your legs, or do something with the worms. The worms are meant to lure out all the fishes who have all been sleeping.

All you see is complaints. It is not as shallow as that. Delve deeper. You will see a purpose behind all the exposes. The reservoir of questions is building up. Sooner or later, the dam is not going to be able to hold up all these questions.

Sooner or later, people are going to be asking these questions. Your circle is too small if you say everyone you have spoken too complains about the MCF. The greater majority sees NOTHING wrong with the MCF. They must now be alerted.

  3. Why cant you see what is going right and weigh that against what is going wrong? MCF have done many right things recently. Dont look from anger. Be constructive. Praise what they have done right. But more needs to be done. I agree with that. Essential parts like development and learning to deal with sponsors. So focus there. Get that right and things will change for the better.
