On dramas and goals.

Dramas have no real goals, no milestones. It is directionless. If we were to ask, what do we need to get our first Malaysian GM, there are no real answers. All we find is senseless attacks and pinning false hopes on potentials. But the ground has not been built yet. And so round and round we go.

So as a community we need to ask the right questions. What do we need and how do we get there? Without those questions answered everything is attacked. Where are we now and where do we want to go? What is in the way? Lets think about that this weekend.

Our boys are doing well at World Youth. How do we get them to the next level? Is individual effort enough? What does our history tell us?

As I said, drama thinking is based on the ego. And the ego is in defence of our fears. To reach a reasoned solution we need to face those fears and still engage in civil discourse.

Ergo, to end the drama, we need to first set goals.

More insights here.
